Following the recent Department of Transport policy to encourage cycling and walking, Town Councilor candidate Mary Kavanagh has launched her vision for a safe cycling network in Ardee. Traffic calming near schools in particular is among the new obligations required under the new government transport policy, to encourage greater numbers of cyclists.
