This Thursday 21st October 2010, Drogheda Community Allotments Association will have a fundraising table quiz in Corrigan's Pub at 8pm. The proceeds from the quiz will go towards the upkeep of the allotments site. There will be a top prize of €100 and many other raffle prizes including vouchers, seeds, bulbs, wine and much, much more. Tables are €20.00 for four people or €5.00 per person and everyone is welcome, whether you are a gardener or not!

Green Party Enterprise Spokesman, Senator Mark Dearey has welcomed the announcement that Louth County Enterprise Board is to receive €44,000 to fund small enterprises round the county, creating 9 jobs and Meath County Enterprise Board is to receive €40,000 which will create 11 new jobs.

The need for the Minister for Health and Children to comment on the ongoing staffing problems around the opening of the new emergency department in Drogheda Hospital which has no set opening date; and the need to maintain funding to the out-patient department at Louth County Hospital in Dundalk in spite of the funding cuts to accident and emergency departments recently announced.
