Redress for Victims of Michael Neary
Following his attendance at last night's Adjournement debate in the Dail on an all party motion seeking justice for the 35 victims of Michael Neary who have not received any compensation from the Lourdes Redress scheme, Senator Mark Dearey has indicated that he will be seeking a similar cross party debate in Seanad Eireann in the near future.

"Minister Harney's response last night was very unsatisfactory and lacked any sense of natural justice. Why any one of Dr. Neary's victims was denied redress is hard to fathom. For this reason I will be seeking to raise the matter again in the Seanad on adjourment and I have no doubt that it will be possible to do so on a cross party basis as happened in Dail Eireann last evening"
