New Bike Ride

In 2008 Co-operation Ireland is celebrating 25 years of cycling events.

This coincides with the introduction of our new cycling challenge, which replaces BorderTrek. It will take place over the weekend of 14-15 June 2008 and it will start and finish at Dundalk Institute of Technology (DKIT).

Day one, Saturday 14 June will be a challenging route of approximately 95 miles, followed on the Sunday by an easier route of about 60 miles. The bike ride will take in some of the most beautiful scenery in Louth, Monaghan, South Armagh and South Down, including the spectacular Cooley and Mourne Mountains and Carlingford Lough.

Application forms and full details will be available by the end of January. They will be posted to all previous BorderTrek participants or you can download them from our website and book on-line.

We haven’t come up with a name for the bike ride yet so if you have any ideas, please email events@cooperationireland.org
